Image Compressor & Resizer
Make photos smaller for a website, email or online form. Choose a target size, compare the result and download it. Your images stay on your device.
How to reduce an image to 100 KB
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- Enter 100 in the target size field and choose JPG or WebP.
- Compress, inspect the preview and download the result.
KB here means 1,000 bytes. A target is a maximum, not an exact file size. Very small targets can require smaller dimensions and visible quality loss; the result shows when a target could not be reached.
Which format should I choose?
JPG works well for photos and many upload forms. WebP supports transparency and is useful for website images. PNG input is supported; output is JPG or WebP. These formats are re-encoded, so keep your original if you need its original quality or metadata.
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool decodes, resizes and compresses images in your browser. You can clear the images when finished. Animated files are not preserved as animations; use a still image.
